Teresa Kelly, Public Relations
Formerly senior vice president marketing/communications
for the Presbyterian Hospital System in Oklahoma
City, Teresa Kelly has been with SAM since 1998.
A former Associated Press writer, she is known
for her ability to translate complicated issues
into media-friendly language. And as a former
newspaper managing editor, she knows how to target
and sell a story.
Her knowledge of the media has enabled her to
place favorable client stories on the front pages
of the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal,
USA Today, covers of trades, headline stories
on network television news, and placements on
The Today Show, Good Morning America and CNN.
Most recently she handled high-profile media
stories involving Ford/.Firestone cars and Crown
Victoria police cruiser fires. She is a 2000
graduate of Leadership Austin, former board member
of the Society of Professional Journalists and
founder of the Girls Empowerment Network (GENaustin)
of Austin.
