Richard Jenson, Public Relations
Richard is a successful litigation consultant,
public relations specialist, and pollster, who
with joined SAM in 1998. He has extensive credentials
as a teacher, social researcher and lecturer.
During his 30 years of experience, Richard has
orchestrated or consulted on over two hundred
public relations campaigns and administered nearly
three hundred surveys. He also developed numerous
media and public relations programs for non-profit
organizations, legal associations, and governmental
agencies.
- Apartment safety program: Developed and
implemented a public relations program to promote
greater tenant security in apartment complexes
and rental units.
- Citizens for Reliable and Safe Highways
(CRASH): Working with victims of avoidable
auto crashes to increase public awareness
of auto safety and to work for enforcement
of truck safety regulation.
- Safety Attorney Federation and individual
attorneys: Worked with attorneys throughout the United States to promote
safety of selected consumer items. Work included
major public relations efforts about unsafe
child toys, truck tire/truck rim mismatch problems,
unsafe butane tanks and numerous other products
found to be hazardous to the public.
- Texas Advocates for Nursing Home Reform:
Worked to help organize public relations movement to help pass 1997 reforms
to Nursing Home Regulations Act.
