Jenny Kimbrell, Senior Website Designer
During the past 20 years,
Jenny has worked in many different areas
of visual communication, utilizing skills in
visual and technical design. Some of these areas
include: economic development, civic organizations,
and marketing. Her skills include visual
design, software implementation, and language
programming. She is a graduate of the University
of Alabama in Birmingham holding a B.A. degree
in Art Studio, with a concentration in advertising
and graphic design.
Some of her work includes
- Developed identity system for Austin Cancer
Center including corporate logo, paper system,
and online presence;
- Reengineered online presence
for Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate
Word, including javascript, ColdFusion, and
CSS page functionality; created multiple supporting
print documents;
- Developed logo identity and online communication
parameters for The Cerebral Palsy Network;
- Was project manager, client laison, portfolio
developer for The Texas Department of Development
Disabilities;
- Identity development and online presence
for inCentergy Performance Management; created
multiple supporting print documents.
Jenny has been awarded such honors as the Paul
W. Crutchfield Scholarship for interface design,
Crystal Quill for design and programming, Addy
for art direction, and the prestigious Cody Award
for design and illustration.
Her previous work includes
- Designer and programmer assistant for Birmingham
Civil Rights Institute Multimedia Lab, a DHTML-driven,
multi-station research lab.
- Designer and programmer
assist for the Birmingham Museum of Art's "Artist
in the Studio," a family oriented touch-screen informational kiosk.
- 3-D
environment design and animation for other video and multimedia projects.
