Amy Loar,
Account Supervisor and Research Analyst
Amy is an Account Supervisor and Research Analyst
at SAM. Her duties include:
- Managing accounts for clients in the legal
and nonprofit fields.
- Overseeing research team.
- Conducting market research for targeted
population groups.
- Ushering advertising and informational materials
for clients including hospitals, attorneys
and nonprofits.
- Assisting in research on textbook efficacy
nationwide using quasi-experimental design.
- Analyzing and reporting on textbook studies.
- Editing materials prior to publication.
Amy joined the Special Audience Marketing team
in early 2007 after completing her coursework
at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Prior to
graduate school, Amy spent 5 years at the local
nonprofit Texas Appleseed as a Project Director.
While there, she managing multiple projects;
ensured grant obligations were fulfilled; that
grants stayed on budget; and evaluated progress
for each project per foundation requirements.
She also ran a mentoring program along with a
scholarship program. Amy attended the University
of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate work
and has Bachelor’s degrees in Government and Psychology. |
