Many of
the Destination Digital companies offer scholarships to high
school students interested in pursuing a high tech oriented
degree. Scholarships vary from company to company.

Internships
within SEC companies have been successful for educators and
students. Educator internships are held during the summer
and educators are paid a stipend. Lesson plans are result
from these internships. High school students can intern during
the school year or summer.

on-the-job learning experience--paid and, in some cases, for
course credit. Destination: Digital members will also be part
of the Greater Austin@ Work College & Career Fair, where over
3000 students and educators learn about career and education
opportunities (such as internships) at area high tech and
semiconductor companies, as well as other businesses and colleges.

speakers and field trips are being developed. This is targeted
