Coping with
Breast Cancer
A support group designed to educate and provide emotional support
for women with breast cancer.
Dialogue
An ongoing support group designed to help patients, their families
and friends better understand and learn to live with cancer.
Gynecological
Support Group
A support group designed to educate and provide emotional support
for women with gynecological cancer.
Life After
Loss
A bereavement support program for anyone who has experienced the
loss of a loved one within the past two years, regardless of the
cause of death.
Look Good
... Feel Better
Provides information to women undergoing cancer treatment to help
them look and feel more comfortable with changes in their appearance.
This program is offered by licensed cosmetologists and health care
professionals in a group setting.
Man to Man
The Man
to Man Prostate Cancer Education and Support Program
was developed to provide accurate, factual information to men and
their partners about prostate cancer in a supportive environment.
New Voice
Club of Austin
A support and activities group with monthly meetings for mutual
support, education and information. For persons who have had a laryngectomy
and their spouses.
Reach to
Recovery
Volunteers who have experienced breast cancer visit
patients before and after surgery. Patients receive gift items including
literature and a temporary breast form. Exercises are demonstrated
at the request of the patient's physician.
