Supplies: Breast Forms, Wigs and Special Clothing

Helpful tips for shopping for a breast prosthesis (breast form):

  • Shop with a friend or family member, if you are comfortable doing so.

  • Check to determine whether you have insurance coverage for the prosthesis

  • Wear a close-fitting top when trying on prostheses.

  • Allow yourself plenty of time to wear the prosthesis in the shop.

  • Find out whether the store has a return policy.
